quote [ Take two guys who?ve been best friends for 20 years, put them in pastoral ministry for a while, let them both be sufficiently battle-scarred by their former churches, then stick them in a room with microphones and whiskey, and this podcast is what you?ll get. ]
Podcast that discusses, as they say, Culture, Politics, Religion, and Biebers. (Note: A Bieber is a small insignificant thing that annoys people.) Christian Kingery is a former pastor turned agnostic (or atheist, as the joke goes), and Jason Stellman is a former pastor that gave up the church he founded to become Catholic.

quote [ President Obama, a.k.a. the boss-in-chief, decided to give federal employees a holiday present a little early. He issued an executive order Friday giving them the day after Christmas off. ]
I think this is actually a nice thing that he's done. No one wants to work while they've still got the meat sweats from the Christmas goose or the Holiday Ham or the Kwanzaa Krab or the Hanukkah Hebrew National Hot Dogs or whatever the hell people eat these days.

Speaking of German words, Uber senior vice president Emil Michael brags about plan to spend $1m to discredit and smear journalists critical of company.
quote [ A senior executive at Uber suggested that the company should consider hiring a team of opposition researchers to dig up dirt on its critics in the media ? and specifically to spread details of the personal life of a female journalist who has criticized the company. ]
2nd article in extended!
Yes, it's BUZZFEED, but if you ignore the asinine bullshit on the sidebar, it's a really interesting article, especially the brazen stupidity of bragging about something like this to a journalist and expecting that to make it okay.
Uber's had a history of attempting to discredit women assaulted by their drivers, and also not fully background checking said drivers.1

quote [ Sure, Matthew Gibson was remorseful.
But paranoia ? not a heavy heart ? apparently sent the Watauga County man on a frantic, sleepless trek to Arizona, where he confessed to a murder that happened 17 years ago, police said. ]
Maybe all those motherfuckers using my email address as their own are actually hitmen trying to send me messages about the South American dictator that I kil... err, that time I jaywalked.

quote [ Most Americans likely never have seen nor heard of Mr. Corden, unless they made it to Broadway two seasons ago and caught his Tony Award-winning performance in ?One Man, Two Guvnors,? or ran into some episodes of a BBC series he cocreated called ?Gavin and Stacey,? in which he played a supporting role. He also starred in the cult hit Hulu series, ?The Wrong Mans.? ]
Any Englandistanis have any insight on Mr. James Corden? Craig was my favorite, and while I'm sad to see his reign as the host of TLLS come to an end, I'm happy that he, Geoff Peterson (and Josh Robert Thompson), and Secretariat are likely going to reunite in a syndicated half-hour talk show in 2016. Also, Craig's the host of Celebrity Name Game which will premiere later on this year or early next year.

GameOverGate: Zoe Quinn posts IRC logs proving that Gamergate and NotYourShield were completely astroturfed by 4Chan
quote [ I guess it's a good time to mention that I've been lurking in & recording 4chan's raid IRC channels for a few weeks ]
Her ex ("Eron"), Youtube video-makers and more were caught on logs in the channels, and all of the logs are already in the hands of the FBI and local authorities. Her ex had been distributing her home address to 4channers in the IRC channels, among other things, and generally seems to be a shitty, deluded asshole that thinks he did all of this for her safety or something. (Take a look at the tweets that he's sent since the story broke for maximum assholistics.)

quote [ Extremist anti-gay US pastor is accused of engineering the Uganda 'Kill The Gays' bill, saying LGBT people are the 'new Nazis' and recommending Russia's 'gay propaganda' laws.
For the first time, a federal US judge has ruled a persecution of LGBT people is a crime against humanity. ]
Original article linked in extended, new link is all the updates to the case. I also apologize for p-headless-q's disgusting comment from February.

quote [ Police in Ferguson, Missouri, once charged a man with destruction of property for bleeding on their uniforms while four of them allegedly beat him.
?After Mr. Davis was detained, did you have any blood on you?? asked Davis? lawyer, James Schottel.
?No, sir,? Beaird replied.
?And what do you allege that Mr. Davis did unlawfully in this one?? the lawyer asked.
?Transferred blood to my uniform while Davis was resisting,? the cop said.
?And didn?t I ask you earlier in this deposition if Mr. Davis got blood on your uniform??
?You did, sir.?
?And didn?t you respond no??
?Correct. I did.? ]
