quote [ 30 Nov 19, 08:19
:snowfox: What is the best system in your opinion? And assuming I am not using it for porn or teledildonics, what else is outside of oculus I might want? ]

Holidays are coming up, VR is finally edging out of early adoption status. Here's some basic info along with a guide to what headsets might interest you.

The Index makes me drool, however the Rift S is super fancy and has built in cameras to provide a view oft he real work when you need it, however it has traditional joysticks (just like the Index) which wear out.

If I had the money, I would buy a Vive because it has touch pads and as a seasoned Steam controller user, I know touch pads are the best input ever made, partly because they don't really break.

I own a Rift, got it for cheap and it is the best intro to VR I could hope for. I will be buying a Vive within a year though. Probably.
