The woman, Heather Starks, filed the suit in Los Angeles County, California, claiming ?that she purchased sandwiches advertised in online and in-store menus, among other places, as including sprouts, which did not in fact include sprouts.?
Starks is claiming listing fraud and a violation of California's False Advertising Act, among other claims.
Even though Jimmy Johns denies Starks' claims, they are settling the case.
From the class action settlement:
If you properly and timely submit a Settlement Claim Form, you will receive an electronic voucher that you may print and redeem at any Jimmy John?s restaurant. If you receive a payment under this Settlement, you will also be releasing the ?Released Claims? against Defendant (see next section for definition of Released Claims). If you wish to receive a payment under the Settlement, you must not ?Opt Out? of the Settlement.
You can read the entire settlement documents here.

From a comment in the jimmy johns link:
This headline is misleading. It makes it sound like she sued because they forgot the sprouts on one sandwich. If you read the article, she is saying she ordered many times (probably so she could sue) and that the advertised ingredients were never on the sandwich, no matter where she ordered it. In fact, that is false advertising and is likely why they're settling the case.

I'm no fan of crazy lawsuits, but we have false advertising laws for a reason. Sounds like they were trying to keep from re-printing menus or signs after the salmonella scare. Cost of doing business guys.
