Hey! I've just realised that the perfect way to finely chop cooked spinach before (for example) mixing it with riccota cheese, would be to use a frigging pizza wheel!
Do you think the Nobel people will insist on going through the normal red tape and formalities, or will they just post me the prize? |

I saw that on an infomercial decades ago, but the one I saw had several blades.

Oh. You'll get the Nobel.
But someone will brand it "The Spinach Wheel: Lean Green Chopping Machine!" And make several hundred million dollars off it. The real question is which would make you happier? |

Interesting, some of these movies actually make it here. I guess I'll check them when they are available. Thanks.

I saw Night on Earth in college, and loved it. I loved it except for the last segment which takes place in Helsinki, Finland, which seemed bizarrely out of place and depressing compared to the first four segments set in different cities around the world. It was years later that I found out that was the point, and it was supposed to be so ridiculously sad and depressing that it's funny, poking fun at the gloomy Scandinavians. I've since watched it several times and enjoyed that last segment, too.
3/5 of the movie is subtitled, for France, Italy and Finland, so those averse to subtitles beware. The trailer only shows dialog from New York and LA. Night on Earth - Trailer - Jim Jarmusch |

Night on Earth is great. The Italian segment is the best, but Finland is dead on if you know Scandinavians.

Agreed. I didn't know Scandanavians when I was 20, but 26 years and a number of Scandanavian friends and colleagues later, I can appreciate it.
