Half of British Muslims say gays should be outlawed

quote [ ICM conducted face-to-face, at-home interviews with a representative sample of 1,000 Muslims across the UK between 25 April and 31 May 2015. A control sample of 1,008 people representative of the country as a whole were interviewed over the phone to provide a comparison.

The polling was commissioned by Channel 4 for a documentary, What British Muslims Really Think, which is due to be broadcast on Wednesday presented by Phillips. ]

Spare your precious attention span. Instead employ those scarce resources on reading this thread, because as close as you are ever going to come to a “full text of a peer reviewed scientific study” is linked right here. No need to bother the TA downstairs.

Anthony Wells vetted the study and concluded its “the best attempt to poll Muslims properly” – which puts the lie to your kneejerk, silly and demonstrably false assertion that its " a story of some folks making a documentary about how scary Muslims are managing to get a couple hundred Muslims to agree with some scary statements”.

So unless the TA in the basement has a better CV is than Well’s (cited below), you’re wrong, and we’re done.

Have a pleasant weekend.

Anthony Wells

Prior to joining YouGov in 2005 he worked in the Leader of the Opposition’s Office for William Hague, Iain Duncan Smith and Michael Howard. He holds a degree in British Politics and Legislative Studies from the University of Hull.
