So why were those yeshiva students digging a tunnel at Chabad headquarters?

quote [ A fracas at Chabad Lubavitch headquarters when a crew tried to fill in a tunnel dug by rogue students points to a deep rift in the movement. ]

I don't know what's been more fun, people's reactions when they heard about the excavation, or their reactions when they subsequently found out about Lubavitchers.

Lots of bigots using this as a jumping-off point to go into conspiracy theories and blood libel and such, so tread carefully please. Chabad are kinda weird by Jewish standards (mainly because they aggressively proselytize among other Jews, so they're very visible as far as 'weird Orthodox groups' go.), but they're OUR weirdos.

There are two types of people in this world: those with access to the space they need, and those who dig.

Maybe they thought it was Hebron and they were stealing a house from its owner.
