“man in the shadows turned all his life towards the sun”

quote [ Miguel Bonnefoy tells in his new novel the life of Augustin Mouchot (1823-1912), an unknown scientist, a misunderstood genius, who invented the first solar-powered "machine" in the 19th century, which he named Octave. ]

They dug up this early eco-inventor (from coal-frenzied 19th century France no less) and turned it into a novel.
