Ink cartridge refills now legal

quote [ The Supreme Court's ruling on ink cartridges today is being hailed as a win for consumers in general. ]

The supreme court has been taking on some IP issues lately and surprisingly siding against established business. First was preventing plaintiffs from filing in friendly jurisdictions (Texas), now this. All they have to do now is to invalidate software patents all together.

The anti race based gerrymandering decision was nice too.

The court standing up for the people, what a concept.

My current printer is an Epson EcoTank to specifically get away from expensive ink cartridges.

When I was potty training my first kid, I used to get excited to see her jump off the couch and run to the back of the house. I was always disappointed when she came back with something she printed, as the printer is just outside the bathroom.
