Stolen at Birth: The Painful Legacy of Australia's Forced Adoption Policy

So they were denied any choice in the matter. Instead, the adoption of their babies became protocol within hospitals. ]

This was not that long ago. People who thought this was a good idea are still alive today. It's another reminder not to become complacent. We're not too advanced to do barbaric things.
