I didn't know how to categorize this one. It's sociology because it's smoker culture and urban legend; it falls short of religion & spirituality.

The story I've heard for lighting three cigarettes with the same match is that it came from soldiers on patrol and that was enough time for a sniper to draw a bead on the light. Probably bollocks but at least someone made up a good reason for it.
