Building an antilibrary: the power of unread books

quote [ Instead of a celebration of everything you know, an antilibrary is an ode to everything you want to explore. ]

Didn't know there was a name for it. Also: Stack of Shame.

I'm taking the opportunity to tidy up my "antilibrary". I bought thousands of books as a job lot, years ago, and now I'm going to get rid of the mystery/thrillers, and keep the SF/Fantasy. This way I can make sure that I only don't read books that I would probably like, instead of not reading books I probably wouldn't like anyway.

In gaming lingo, we call this a "backlog". I think I might start calling them my anti-games.

Library lingo out dates gaming lingo by a few thousand years.

I'm going with library/ book lingo. Besides, gaming is just a cheap, algorithm based book. Created by humans.

Yeah. I'm feeling ornery today.
