States with stricter gun control regulations have fewer mass shootings

quote [ A 10% increase in state gun ownership [in a state] was associated with a significant 35.1% higher rate of mass shootings ]

I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

Gun control? Can't see that generating any discussion.

But wait. Isn't this the opposite of what the NRA would have us believe? Say it ain't so.

Knowing this is nice, but it won't change anything. Facts don't change minds.

Horse Shit! I have complied a bit of a list. The numbers that the linked article do not tell the complete story. yes, those states have tight gun control laws and they are overall have a lesser gun death record. But lets dive deeper. According to The Center for Disease Control These states have the strictest gun control laws; Maryland #32, Michigan #27, Connecticut #46, California #43, and Wisconsin #35. However, cities within these "hard line' gun control states rank in the top ten for gun violence. Baltimore MD #2, Detroit MI #3, Hartford CT #8, Salinas CA #9, and Milwaukee WI #10. What does this mean? It does not matter how strict the gun control laws are, criminals will get guns. And those that have their guns legally will always pay the price with stricter gun laws. i mean, seriously, gun control laws only work with law abiding citizens....if you are a criminal are you really paying attention to the law anyways????
