Ok, now that this is on tv I might be able to get someone to test this experiment, or physically evaluate my setup.

I see where the confusion was coming from, when you compared this to the EmDrive, I assumed you were trying to show thrust. Thus, you'd want a torsional pendulum so that you could record the amount of thrust generated. Now that I see it's not what you're going for, and instead a simple balance bar...
