Problem: Editing post causes quote text field to go blank

Description: When I click edit, either on a post that was already posted or one I am previewing, the quote text field on the edit screen is empty. I'm not sure if this happens with every post, but this one for sure causes the bug:

Also, this might be related, but when I have titles with quote marks in them, stuff after the mark (sometimes?) disappears when editing. Could apostrophes/single-quotes be causing the quote field prob too?

In theory I fixed the apostrophe/single quote issue a week or two ago. Let me know if it pops up again, please.

Fixed. Thank you for letting me know.

Problem was in htmlentities($string) not handling non-valid UTF-8 sequences and instead returning a blank string.

Fix is like so:
htmlentities($string, ENT_QUOTES,'ISO-8859-1')
