If you are walking in the suburban US, well . . . you're doing it wrong. It's against the design.

I agree, it's a shitty design. It's nice to be able to walk places. It's nice when cars are the 2nd class citizens.

I do also wonder what's going to happen to all the space we've build in the suburbs. People have online lives now. You order things online. There are probably a billion square feet of retail space in the U.S. that used to be used for T-Mobile stores and specialty clothing and hobby shops and whatever that are all better offered online now.

So the suburbs are going to keep becoming liminal, and then beyond liminal. Abandoned.

I cant get past the thing covering up the front page. Oh well. I guess I will just have to continue living in suburbia.
