As a response looks like Protesters are taking on Mei from Overwatch as their icon of choice so it gets banned from China ala Poohbear |

My social circle already uninstalled all blizzard games. This is monumental bullshit

It's completely legitimate for Blizzard to enforce their own Terms of Service and self-censor to pursue profits in China.
It's also completely legitimate for consumers to call them out on their bullshit. Personally, I love that people are coopting established Blizzard characters (like Mei, who is Chinese) as supporters of Hong Kong. |

As a publicly listed company, Activision Blizzard should be thinking about Environmental, Social, and Governance.

Yep, flushed my blizzard account, China should not be allowed to play with other countries while they operate like this. I will have nothing to do with any company that sucks on China's teet like this and defends that country as it feigns indignation while being called out as their totalitarian regime grinds their people into paste and resalable organs all in the name of the "People". Now to find me a HK t-shirt with Mei on it.
