This game kept me company for many a night growing up. Then during bad parts of my adult life i obsessively played pokemon go. I love this game so much im working on a pokemon burlesque routine(technically revamping a one off routine that i didnt plan on doing multiple times)

I played it for months on end on my GameBoy Color on my breaks from the shitty fast food job I was working in my early 20s (right after my Tamagotchi died) before I realized it wasn't good enough to distract me from my crippling untreated depression and got a slightly better job so I could afford a PS2 and a computer to play better games on.

I was at just the wrong age when pokemon first came out. I was too old to play a little kids's game, but not old enough to not care what other people thought and play whatever I want. Years later, I played all the way through Pokemon Omega Ruby on 3DS. I enjoyed it, but not enough to want to play any of the other games. I feel like if I had played it as a kid, I would still like it now, but I missed the boat on it.

My childhood wasnt great. I remember hiding under my covers playing it while my parents fought.

Pokemon go helps bc it forces me to actually leave my room but i live in the quarter so i can play from my bed now

I knew the Pokerap pretty well despite no interest when the fad hit. They played it during commercial breaks for other cartoons so frequently there was no avoiding it.
