quote [ San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón announced Monday that his office will wipe out more than 9,000 marijuana-related convictions in an unprecedented step following California’s cannabis legalization more than two years ago.
Gascón last year teamed up with Code for America — a nonprofit focused on using open-source technology to improve government — to find every marijuana case eligible for expungement or resentencing under Proposition 64. Ricky, don't toke your puns so seriously. I mean, do pipe up when you have an opinion, but do we really have to hash out the hierarchy of jokes? Does it matter to you how I buddah my toast? Will I be stoned by the mainstream for enjoying a pun?

It wasn't for lack of trying. We were bombarded day and night by anti-pot bullshit bankrolled by the state-prison lobby during the election before the proposition to legalize passed.
