What’s the best PC VR Headset?

quote [ 30 Nov 19, 08:19
:snowfox: What is the best system in your opinion? And assuming I am not using it for porn or teledildonics, what else is outside of oculus I might want? ]

Holidays are coming up, VR is finally edging out of early adoption status. Here's some basic info along with a guide to what headsets might interest you.

Survival horror like zombies shooters? I realize I'm behind the times, but I just picked up Arizona Sunshine as part of a bundle for the Steam sale and I flew threw the main game in a couple days. Lot of fun, felt like a VR Left 4 Dead if it was Ellis's cousin or someone was running solo. Also, last night I picked up Natural Locomotion that lets you put an app on smart phones with accelerometers to use as feet sensors so you can walk in place to control games that use smooth locomotion. It's a bit buggy but it's got some serious potential. Much less jolting than the teleport locomotion. Gonna see if I can make an endless runner style exercise app for it one of these days.

Definitely check out Portal Stories:VR, it's free if you have Portal 2, I think.
